The standard high of the MK track roof is 2,7 meter. Because of this height, the track roof can also be used for larger horses. The pillars and structural beams of this cover are made of galvanized steel, ensuring that your cover will remain durable for many years and won’t rust. Our track roof can be installed over any horse walker or fence.
We offer two standard versions of the track roof at Molenkoning: the Comfort and the Full Option. In addition to these two standard versions, we are always open to special requests. Specifications of a Molenkoning track roof
The basis of this roofing is galvanized steel uprights and beams. On top of the construction of these trusses and planed timber beams, we mount our glass fiber reinforced polyester corrugated sheets of stabipol. All our roofs are built according to the toughest snow and wind standards in the Netherlands.
We have developed the Comfort roofing, which can be described as safe, simple and functional. The enclosure consists of our Sweden Fence with a retaining board to keep the sand inside the track. The 2.5-meter windbreak net is almost essential, providing sufficient fresh air while keeping wind, rain and sun outside.
In short, the Comfort roofing is a smart and favourable solution for both private horse owners and bigger equestrian entrepreneurs.
Prefer a premium track roof?
Our full option track roof is without a doubt the most beloved type of our available roofing options. The first delivery of this classic dates back to 2007, after which many enthusiastic customers followed all over the world.
The entire construction is hot-dip galvanized according to DIN EN 1461 standards. The enclosure is made of our round fence, including a windbreak net system, which ensures a beautiful and uniform appearance. The round fence enclosure can be custom made by using different fillings, such as high quality pure plastic, bamboo or 45 mm Douglas wood.
The track is 2.5 meters wide and is covered with a 5-meter roof, so it never rains or snows on the walkway. This guarantees that not only the horse, but also you will stay dry all year round when the horses are walking under the track roof.
